Riders from all over Europe are eager to take part in the sixth edition of BURN RIVER JUMP, which is to be held in Livigno 21 to 23 February 2012. The one and only 5-star TTR event in Italy has a fabulous prize of U.S. $ 50,000 and will give participants the opportunity to compete in slopestyle and big air disciplines to win valuable points for the TTR.

As ever the BURN RIVER JUMP will have a crucial and decisive role in all events run this year on the European scene. It will take place during the final stages of the Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour (TTR) 2011/2012, between two 6-star events: Snowboard World Championships and the Burton European Open.
For the athletes determined to win the championship of the TTR Tour Champion 2011/2012, where they will be considered the best four results in the category Slopestyle, the event in Livigno BURN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST will be one of the last chances to score the points needed.
The winning a 5 star event as the Burn River Jump means to grab 850 points, the equivalent of fourth or fifth place in a 6 stars-level race.
For athletes who want to compete with the best snowboarders in the world-famous on-line registration is open until 17 February 2012. All riders interested in BURN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST must register online at www.burnriverjump.it.
Participants will be selected based on their rankings in TTR Slopestyle score calculated for the last entry day (17 February 2012) until the available 80 positions willbe filled. The top 10 riders in the final standings of BURN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST will gain the right to the highlight of the event, the BURN RIVER JUMP!
Thursday evening will be the time of BURN RIVER JUMP finals . The top freestylers in circulation enchant the crowd with incredible set-up on the river “Spoel” in the center of Livigno. Athletes can choose between several competing programmes and spectacular productions to cross the river and to win the champion title “Burn River Jump,” taking home the biggest slice of the prize pool.
