Only few days left to BURN RIVER JUMP 2012. The frost seems to have prevailed over Europe and now the snow has whitened the whole country. The shapers of the Swatch Snowpark Mottolino are working to establish a set-up full of kickers and rails on which riders will be able to give their best. The list of participants invited to the sixth edition of the Burn River Jump, Livigno to be held in 21 to 23 February 2012, is finally confirmed.

At the height of the winter season of pro snowboarding, the Burn River Jump is proud to announce the names of the top 10 invited riders, who will arrive in Livigno in just over a week and due to finish in TTR have direct access to the final stage of this unique event in Italy, at the highest competitive level:

Last year the Burn River Jump has been dominated by the Norwegian riders due to the victory of Aleksander Oestreng in Big Air and Ulrik Badertscher’s in Slopestyle . While scrolling down the list of invited participants one could predict this year the clear superiority of Norway. But it will not be that easy. The fight for the trophy announced Tonteri Roope, the winner of the Burton European Open 2011 and who now leads the overall standings TTR Slopestyle, the Englishman Jamie Nicholls, who has conquered the podium at the Burton Rail Days in Tokyo and Patrick Burgener, who will arrive from Switzerland stronger than shows his fifth place at ‘Air & Style Innsbruck. Besides Ulrik Badertscher, the winner of the Air & Style in Beijing, the show will be attended by remained members of the quartet Burn: Staale Sandbech, Werner Stock, and Arthur Longo.
Ready to give the show are the riders who received a wild card from the organizers:
Jan Scherrer (SUI), Peter König (AUT), Sondre Tiller (NOR), Emil Ulsletten (NOR), Kevin Backstrom (SWE), Eric Beauchlin (USA) and Italians Marco Grigis, Simon Gruber and Kevin Kok.

The top 10 in slopestyle will earn the chance to compete in the Burn River Jump and will have the chance to win a share of total U.S. $ 50,000 and go up to the podium for the final night in Livigno.
