Folgarida is a modern resort in the middle of a pine forest where at around 1300 meters a.s.l. are situated 25 hotels and numerous residences making a total of more than 8.500 beds for the tourists. Recently a connection with neighbouring Marilleva created one ski resort Folgarida-Marilleva. Through Monte Vigo (2014 m ) the area is linked to Madonna di Campiglio, and free skibus services bring skiers to the other resorts of Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta ski area like Peio or Tonale (Adamello).

There is a newly completed train station in Daolasa, especially to attract the local tourists that can go by a train ‘Dolomiti Express’ from Trident directly to the bottom of the slopes, where
the new 8-seat cabin lifts, take skiers to Mount Vigo .
