This year edition of Gardenissima will take place on April 5th in Santa Cristina, Val Gardena.
The world’s longest giant slalom features 88 gates on the distance of 6 km.There will be more than 500 skiers, both amateurs and professionals.
The start point is located at 2 518 m on Seceda Mountan ( Col Raiser ) , the run leads through 88 gates, to finish at 1 485 m in Santa Cristina.
The altitude difference : 1 033 m
Length : 6 km.
The race is opened for everybody to enter, providing medical certificate and a FISI (Italian Winter Sports Federation) membership card or foreign equivalent.

After the downhill competitions there will be commenced another event : Val Gardena Star Bike.
The 42 km long ski marathon starts and ends in St. Cristina, the route of 1 150 m altitude difference runs through Monte Pana, Alpe di Siusi and Sassolungo area.
