Ski Italy

Although Minschuns in a Swiss ski resort, it is escribed here, as it is the only resort outside Italy included in Ortler Skiarena.
The resort is located in Val Müstair ( Val Monastero ), the valley of the river Ro, which divides Livigno mountain range from Sesvenna group.
The main village in the Valley is Santa Maria. the other municipalities are Valchava, Lü, Fuldera , Tschierv and Müstair.
Enrolled on the World Heritage List of UNESCO, the Benedictine Convent of Saint John from Müstair features The Planta tower from 957 AD and
Romanesque frescoes 9th – 12th centuries ( free entry).

The region offers unforgotten Alpine views, and is popular for snow- shoes walking ( around the villages up to Alp da Munt (2213 m) and Alp Champatsch (2087 m)
and Alpine skiing ( Piz Vallatscha 3021 m ).

The skiarea is named after the mountain Minschuns (2500 m ) and besides of regular runs offers several kilometers of off-piste slopes on deep snow.
The local bus stops on the parking at the bottom of Minschuns near the first ski lift Era Sot.
The slopes are of various difficulty, and situated in the middle of ski area restaurant Alpes da Mut gives the possibility to take a little refreshment during skiing.

The ski resort Minschuns is a part of big Ortler Skiarena with one skipass for 16 snow resorts, with possibility of ski in Val Senales, Solda all’Ortles, or located several kilometres away Watles,
Maseben or Malga s.Valentino.
