Frabosa Soprana is the second oldest ( after Limone ) holiday resort in Alpes-Maritimes. Since 1875 is popular among summer tourists, and at the end of 1960′s also became the winter ski resort.
Located in the municipality of Frabosa Sottana, the village Artesina is surrounded by the Alpine mountains La Turra, Cima Durant and Monte Mondole, that gave the name of ski area which includes resorts Artesina, Prato Nevoso and Frabosa Sottana with total 134 km of slopes.
