Two years ago Livigno welcomed the opening of the second snowpark named after ski area – Carosello 3000.
It has been constructed using the experience and manpower of the team working with the first one – Mottolino,
and again this year is going to bring plenty of new innovations.
The hit of the season will definitely be the BAGJUMP ( scheduled to work from Dec 2009 ) which is made of 6 airbags with a unique air delivery system allowing snowboarders and skiers to practice their jumping skills with greater safety. The size of the whole construction, which is 4 m high ,15 m wide and 15 m long allows to move it on the slopes and possibly even indoors.
There is also Boarderzoo, a boardercross dedicated to families and children , and the wooden park with rails heavily reconstructed for the coming season.
The park is located along the run ‘Polvere’ that starts near rifugio Carosello 3000. Snowboarders can reach the refugee by gondola Carosello 3000 II Tronco, which starts from Livigno near San Rocco.
